INTERTIM, which grows its production targets every year, processes 100.000 cubic meters annually and serves to the leading industrial companies in its field. With two sawmills located close to the ports of Mersin and Samsun, and with one stockhouse in Izmir, we supply fast service anywhere in Turkey.
Our company has the necessary authorization certificate for production and standard stipulation according to ISPM-15 standard determined by IPPC International Plant Protection Convention. All kinds of wooden packaging materials (pallets, crates, boxes, wedges, etc.) to be exported are processed and marked.
We also have kiln drying equipments in our sawmills. We have a drying oven system with capacity of total 300 cubic meters of material at the same time. Drying process is applied for all kinds of wooden materials and our operator's reports are presented on demand.
Our company operates in accordance with ISO9001: 2015 Quality Management and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standards and has the necessary certificates.
The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat, a subsidiary of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), has set a standard for the packaging and pallets made of solid wood used in international trade in Rome in 2002 with the participation of its members (ISPM 15- International Standarts of Phytosanitary Measures 15).
Accordingly, the pests carried within the wood material must be destroyed. There are two methods. The most valid method is heat treatment. Heat treatment; means that the internal temperature of the materials is at least 56 ° C for at least 30 minutes. This process requires recording and reporting software. The heat treatment furnace control program performs all these with high precision and reliability. It records all values in minutes and gives them in writing in the desired range.
